Megan Racing coilovers come in seven series: Street, EZ I, EZ II, Euro I, Euro II, Track, and Spec-RS. The series differ in top mounts, damping range, and how the damping is adjusted. This guide covers each one so you can match a series to your car.

What Every Megan Racing Coilover Kit Has in Common

Every series is ride-height adjustable and damping adjustable, and every Megan Racing coilover kit is backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects. Mount type and damping range can vary by vehicle, so check the specifications table on your car's product page before you order.

Megan Racing EZ I and EZ II Series

Megan describes the EZ series as prioritizing ride comfort, with a slight increase in spring rate over stock and sport-tuned shock valving. Both use a monotube shock, are full-length adjustable so ride height changes don't reduce shock stroke, and have 15-click damping with compression and rebound adjusted together.

The main difference is the mounting hardware. EZ I kits typically reuse the factory top mounts, while EZ II kits typically come with rubber-insulated front top mounts. Megan says this setup keeps road noise out of the cabin.

Megan Racing Euro I and Euro II Series

The Euro series covers European applications such as BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen.

Euro I is also comfort-focused. Megan lists rubber front top mounts, typically the OE rear mount reused, a monotube shock, and typically 30-click damping.

Euro II has camber-adjustable pillowball front top mounts and 32 levels of damping, with compression and rebound adjusted together.

Megan Racing Street Series

The Street Series is for track or street cars. It has 32 levels of damping with compression and rebound set together by one knob at the top of the damper, camber-adjustable pillowball front top mounts on strut-type cars, and separate CNC-machined locking spring perches with shock length adjustment, so ride height changes keep full suspension stroke.

Megan Racing Track Series

The Track Series is built for aggressive track use, with noise insulation and street comfort taking a back seat. It has aggressive spring rates and valving matched to high-grip track tires, pillowball top mounts, and 32 levels of damping adjusted with a single knob. Because of the pillowball mounts, more suspension and road noise reaches the cabin, which Megan notes is normal for this series.

Megan Racing Spec-RS Series

Spec-RS is the series with separate compression and rebound adjustment. A knob at the top of the damper adjusts rebound and an adjuster on the external reservoir adjusts compression, with 32 levels of damper force adjustment. Spring perch and shock height adjust separately, which allows corner balancing, and it uses pillowball upper mounts front and rear. For more on what separate compression and rebound adjustment does, see our guide to 1-way, 2-way, and 3-way adjustable coilovers.

How to Choose a Megan Racing Series

Comfort-focused, factory or rubber top mounts: EZ I, EZ II, or Euro I on a European car.

Camber-adjustable pillowball front mounts, one damping knob: Street Series, or Euro II on a European car.

Aggressive track spring rates and valving: Track Series.

Separate compression and rebound adjustment: Spec-RS, where offered for your vehicle.

Not every series is made for every car, so start with your vehicle. Open the Megan Racing collection, select your year, make, and model, and you'll see only the sets that fit. If you're still deciding on spring rates, our guide to choosing the right spring rate can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Megan Racing EZ and Street series coilovers?
The EZ series prioritizes ride comfort, with rubber or factory top mounts and 15-click damping. The Street Series offers 32 levels of damping and camber-adjustable pillowball front top mounts on strut-type cars.

Are Megan Racing coilovers adjustable?
Yes. Every series is ride-height adjustable and damping adjustable. Most series adjust compression and rebound together with a single knob, while Spec-RS adjusts them separately.

What warranty do Megan Racing coilovers have?
Megan Racing coilover kits are backed by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects.

Do Megan Racing coilovers come with camber plates?
It depends on the series and vehicle. Street, Euro II, Track, and Spec-RS use camber-adjustable pillowball front top mounts on strut-type applications, while EZ and Euro I reuse or replace the top mounts with rubber ones. Check your vehicle's specifications table.
