Product Details
This Whiteline Front Gearbox Crossmember Pad Bushing fits the 2010-2014 Subaru Outback. Application note: Faster shift response: suits manual gearbox. Chassis code: BR/BS. In the box: 4 bushings, an install guide, and grease. Whiteline part number: KDT901. It goes on the front of the vehicle.
Every shift and every throttle change sends torque through the gearbox, and the mount decides how far it can move. Reducing that movement keeps the shifter and driveline more consistent and takes some of the slop out of the car's response. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Whiteline rates the install as difficult and lists about 2 hours. A wheel alignment is not required. Working on the same car? We also list Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, and Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing for the Outback.
Features
- Grease: Supplied with molybdenum disulfide grease for extended service life.
- Install guide: Written install instructions are included with the part.
- Bushing compound: The elastomer formulation is chosen to shrug off oil, grease, ozone, and the elements.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane is firmer than the factory rubber, so it deflects less under load.
- Bonded design: A bonded design adds strength for high load applications.
- Self-lubricating: Built-in grease reservoirs provide continual lubrication and reduce friction.
