Made to fit the 2004-2005 Subaru WRX STI, the Front Strut Tower Brace (Large Top Mount Intercooler) from Whiteline. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: KSB599. Included: 1 strut brace and 3 brackets. It is listed for the GD/GG chassis.
Body panels flex slightly under load, and in a corner the tops of the front struts move toward and away from each other. This brace spans that gap, which stiffens that end of the chassis and lets the suspension do its job with fewer unwanted changes in geometry.
