Product Details
This Whiteline Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link fits the 2013-2019 Ford Escape (C1XX). It is listed for the C1XX chassis. You receive 2 links. Whiteline part number: KLC157. This part is for the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable Extra Heavy Duty.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the rear sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Its adjustable body lets you set the length with the car on the ground, so the bar is not twisted against its own mounts before the car even moves.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 1 hour of work listed. It does not require a wheel alignment. Working on the same car? We also list Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link, and Front Control Arm Lower Inner Front Bushing for the Escape.
