This Whiteline Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link fits the 2013-2019 Ford Escape (C1XX). The part number is KLC151. Application note: Adjustable extra heavy duty. Position: front. The kit contains 2 links and 8 washers.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Because the length is adjustable, the link can be set on the car so the bar sits relaxed at rest, which matters most after a change in ride height.
