For the 2002-2006 Suzuki XL-7 (JA), Whiteline makes the Upper Shock Absorber Bushing Kit. You receive 4 bushings. Whiteline part number: W21172.
A shock absorber is mounted through bushings at its ends. When the rubber is worn, the shock can move or knock in its mount, and its damping force is not delivered cleanly to the suspension. New bushings keep the shock located. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
