This Whiteline Transmission Mount Bushing Kit fits the 1987-1988 Chevrolet R20. The part number is W93467. You receive 1 mount, 4 washers, 2 nuts, and 2 bolts. Application note: Replaces 1 bolt and 2 bolt style mounts.
The transmission is held in the chassis by a mount that absorbs vibration. A soft or worn mount lets the gearbox rock when you shift or get on and off the throttle, which feels like a jerk, a clunk, or a delay. A firmer mount or bushing limits that motion. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
