Product Details
This Whiteline Tie Rod Boot Kit fits the 1988-1990 GMC C1500 (GMT400). Whiteline part number: W93457. You receive 2 bushings.
A tie rod end boot is a flexible cover that keeps grease in and dirt and water out. Once it tears, grit gets into the joint and wears it quickly. A new boot seals the joint again, and doing it early is far cheaper than replacing the joint.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 1 hour of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Working on the same car? We also list Body Mount Bushing Kit, Rear Upper Shock Absorber Bushing Kit, and Front Sway Bar Mount and Link Bushing Kit for the C1500.
Features
- Install guide: Instructions for fitting are packed in the box.
- Bushing compound: The bushing material stands up to oil, grease, ozone, and weather.
- Grease: Supplied with molybdenum disulfide grease for extended service life.
- Self-lubricating: The bushing carries its own grease supply in internal reservoirs, so it keeps moving freely.
- Easy to fit: Designed for an easy install with ordinary shop equipment.
