Product Details
Made to fit the 1988-1991 Honda Civic Base, RT (EF), the Rear Sway Bar Link Bushing (28.5mm OD) from Whiteline. The listing names the Base and RT trims. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. In the box: 8 bushings. Whiteline part number: W21014.
Sway bar link bushings are small but busy, flexing every time the suspension moves. Rubber that has cracked or flattened lets the link rattle and the bar lose its grip on the suspension. A new set puts the link ends back into a snug fit. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Whiteline rates the install as easy and lists about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. To go with it on the Civic, see 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, Front Sway Bar Link Kit, and Front Upper Control Arm Bushing Kit.
Features
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
- Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
- Easy to fit: Designed so the install needs no specialized skills or tools.
