Product Details
This Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link Kit fits the 1988-2000 Honda Civic. Whiteline part number: W23840. Position: front. In the box: 8 bushings, 2 tubes, 2 bolts, 8 washers, 2 nuts, and an install guide.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system.
Expect a moderate job of about 1 hour. A wheel alignment is not required. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Civic: Front and Rear Sway Bar Vehicle Kit, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts.
Features
- Easy to fit: Designed so the install needs no specialized skills or tools.
- Install guide: Step-by-step installation instructions come with it.
- Grease: Moly grease is supplied to prolong the life of the parts.
- Self-lubricating: Built-in grease reservoirs provide continual lubrication and reduce friction.
- Bushing compound: The bushing material stands up to oil, grease, ozone, and weather.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane is firmer than the factory rubber, so it deflects less under load.
