Product Details

This Whiteline Rear Lower Inner Forward Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 2008-2009 Audi TT. This part is for the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: W63551. Included: 2 shell bushings and 2 tubes. Whiteline's note for this fit: Fits U-channel arm/link at inner position. The chassis code on the listing is 8J.

Bushings work out of sight, but they decide how well a suspension holds its geometry. A soft or tired control arm bushing allows play that shows up as vague steering, a wandering feel under braking, or a clunk over bumps. Fitting a firmer one takes that slack out. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Installation is rated moderate, with about 3 hours of work listed. An alignment is required after installation. To go with it on the Audi TT, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.

Features

  • Self-lubricating: Grease reservoirs inside the bushing feed lubrication as it moves.
  • Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
  • Install guide: An install guide comes in the box.
  • Bushing material: The bushing material is polyurethane, a firmer choice than rubber.
  • Material: Made from polyurethane.
