Here is the Whiteline Rear Differential Bushing Kit for the 2003-2025 BMW Z4 (E85/E86/E89/G29). Whiteline part number: KDT982. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. In the box: 5 bushings, 3 tubes, and 5 washers.
The differential is hung from the chassis on bushings that are soft for comfort. Under hard acceleration and braking they let it rock, so power reaches the wheels a moment late and the rear end can feel loose. A firmer bushing holds the differential more steadily, which sharpens throttle response. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
