Product Details
This Whiteline Heavy Duty Blade Adjustable 22mm Rear Sway Bar fits the 1991-1995 BMW 325is 3 Series. This part is for the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline part number: BBR38Z. In the box: 1 sway bar, 2 links, 2 bushings, 2 brackets, 4 bolts, 8 washers, and 6 nuts. The chassis code on the listing is E36.
A sway bar is a torsion spring that links the left and right wheels. When the body leans, the bar twists and resists, which keeps the car flatter and spreads load more evenly across the tires. In general, a stiffer rear bar helps the tail rotate and reduces understeer. Adjustable mounting points let you step the stiffness up or down without changing the bar.
Expect a moderate job of about 1.5 hours. It does not require a wheel alignment. Other Whiteline parts we list for the 325is 3 Series: Front Strut Tower Brace, Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing, and Front Strut Tower Brace Quick Release Kit.
