This Whiteline Front Steering Rack And Pinion Mount Bushing fits the 1996-2003 Lexus ES300. Placement: front. Included: 3 bushings and 1 tube. Part number W11722. Whiteline's note for this fit: Suits power steering models with "D" shaped bushing passengers side.

The steering rack is held to the chassis by bushings, and every input you make at the wheel passes through them. Rubber ones soften with age and can be degraded further by oil leaks, so the rack is allowed to shift under load and the steering feels less precise. A firmer rack mount bushing reduces that movement.
