This Whiteline Front Lower Shock Absorber Bushing Kit fits the 1959-1983 Jeep CJ5. Part number W31469. You receive 4 bushings. Position: front.
A shock absorber is mounted through bushings at its ends. When the rubber is worn, the shock can move or knock in its mount, and its damping force is not delivered cleanly to the suspension. New bushings keep the shock located. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
