This Whiteline Front Lower Inner Front Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1996-2000 Honda Civic (EK). It goes on the front of the vehicle. The part number is W53608. Included: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, and grease.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
