This Whiteline Front Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit (45.8mm OD) fits the 2005-2011 BMW 325i 3 Series. It goes on the front of the vehicle. The kit contains 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Whiteline's note for this fit: Standard Replacement. Part number W53453.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
