Product Details

This Whiteline Front Engine Mount fits the 2008 Volkswagen Eos Komfort. Application note: Inserts: check voiding of OEM bushings first, installs into voiding of original bushings. Part number KDT968. Trim named on the listing: Komfort. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Included: 1 insert bushing, 2 washers, an install guide, and grease.

Engine mounts hold the engine in the chassis while absorbing vibration. When the rubber softens, the engine rocks under hard acceleration and when you lift off, and you may feel shudders, clunks, or a vague throttle. A new mount restores a solid hold. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.

Expect a moderate job of about 2 hours. It does not require a wheel alignment. To go with it on the Volkswagen Eos, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arm Set, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.
