Body roll shifts load onto the outside tires, and a sway bar is the most direct way to limit it. Fitting stiffer bars at both ends keeps the platform flatter through a corner and lets the car turn in with less lean, and having a front and rear pair designed to work together keeps the balance predictable. Adjustable mounting points let you step the stiffness up or down without changing the bar.
