This Whiteline 22mm Rear Sway Bar Mount Kit fits the 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX Base, TS. Included: 2 bushings, 2 mounts, 2 saddles, 4 bolts, and 12 washers. Whiteline part number: KBR21-22. Placement: rear.
The sway bar sits in rubber bushings that let it rotate as it twists. When those bushings wear or compress, the bar slides and shifts in its mounts, which causes clunking and a slight delay before it begins to resist roll. Replacement bushings hold the bar in its proper place while still letting it turn. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
