Product Details
This Whiteline Front Roll Center Correction Kit fits the 2005-2010 Ford Mustang Base, GT (S197). Part number KCA439. In the box: 2 ball joints and an install guide. Placement: front.
Lowering a car changes the angle of the front suspension arms and drops the roll center, the point around which the body rolls, closer to the ground. That adds leverage to body roll and can load the outside tire unevenly in a corner. A roll center correction kit uses specially designed ball joints to restore a better geometry on a lowered car.
Installation is rated difficult, with about 3 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Application note: Reduces roll center: essential for lowered cars, use with Bump steer correction kit as an optimum upgrade motorsport. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Mustang: Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Adjustable Front Sway Bar Link.
Features
- Install guide: Step-by-step installation instructions come with it.
- Corrosion protection: The hardware is plated to stand up to road conditions.
