Owners of the 1983-1986 Toyota Tercel can fit the Whiteline Upper Shock Absorber Bushing Kit. Whiteline part number: W21172. Included: 4 bushings. The chassis code on the listing is AL20.
Shock bushings take the shock's loads and let it pivot slightly as the suspension moves. If they are worn, you may hear a clunk and feel less control over bumps. Replacing them is an easy way to quiet and tighten that corner. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
