Owners of the 1968-1992 Toyota Corolla (E10-E90) can fit the Whiteline Upper Shock Absorber Bushing Kit. Whiteline part number: W21172. The kit contains 4 bushings.
A shock absorber is mounted through bushings at its ends. When the rubber is worn, the shock can move or knock in its mount, and its damping force is not delivered cleanly to the suspension. New bushings keep the shock located. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Installation is rated easy, with about 1 hour of work listed. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground.
