Product Details
This Whiteline Transmission Mount Bushing Kit fits the 1977-1978 GMC K15 Suburban. Part number W93470. In the box: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, 2 plates, and an install guide.
Every shift and every throttle change sends torque through the gearbox, and the mount decides how far it can move. Reducing that movement keeps the shifter and driveline more consistent and takes some of the slop out of the car's response. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 1 hour. No alignment is needed afterward. Other Whiteline parts we list for the K15 Suburban: 15mm Front Sway Bar Bushing Kit.
Features
- Easy to fit: Designed so the install needs no specialized skills or tools.
- Install guide: An install guide comes in the box.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane is firmer than the factory rubber, so it deflects less under load.
- Self-lubricating: The bushing carries its own grease supply in internal reservoirs, so it keeps moving freely.
- Grease: Molybdenum disulfide grease comes with it for a longer service life.
- Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
