This Whiteline Tie Rod Boot Kit fits the 1976-1978 GMC G25. Application note: Rod End Dia. Order it as part number W93458. In the box: 2 bushings.

A tie rod end boot is a flexible cover that keeps grease in and dirt and water out. Once it tears, grit gets into the joint and wears it quickly. A new boot seals the joint again, and doing it early is far cheaper than replacing the joint.
