Product Details

Fitted to the 2017-2018 Toyota 86 Special Edition (ZN6): the Whiteline Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bushing. Included: 4 bushings, 2 tubes, an install guide, and grease. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. Order it as part number W63582. Trim named on the listing: Special Edition.

Every time the wheel moves, the trailing arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Expect a difficult job of about 2 hours. An alignment is required after installation. To go with it on the Toyota 86, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Adjustable Sway Bar Vehicle Link Kit.

Features

  • Grease: Moly grease is supplied to prolong the life of the parts.
  • Self-lubricating: Internal grease reservoirs keep the bushing lubricated as it works.
  • Bushing compound: The elastomer formulation is chosen to shrug off oil, grease, ozone, and the elements.
  • Easy to fit: Designed so the install needs no specialized skills or tools.
  • Compliance voids: Voids molded into the bushing allow suspension articulation and soften sharp road inputs.
  • Bushing material: Made of polyurethane, which resists deflection better than soft rubber.
