Product Details

This page covers the Whiteline Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bushing for the 2009-2018 Subaru Forester. The kit contains 4 bushings, 2 tubes, an install guide, and grease. Part number W63582. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. Chassis code: SH/SJ.

Bushings work out of sight, but they decide how well a suspension holds its geometry. A soft or tired trailing arm bushing allows play that shows up as vague steering, a wandering feel under braking, or a clunk over bumps. Fitting a firmer one takes that slack out. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Installation is rated difficult, with about 2 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. Working on the same car? We also list Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Adjustable Sway Bar Vehicle Link Kit for the Forester.
