Whiteline built the 20mm Rear Sway Bar Bushing Kit for the 1995-1997 Subaru Legacy LSi. Order it as part number W0404-20. Placement: rear. The listing names the LSi trim. You receive 2 bushings. The chassis code on the listing is BD/BG.
The sway bar sits in rubber bushings that let it rotate as it twists. When those bushings wear or compress, the bar slides and shifts in its mounts, which causes clunking and a slight delay before it begins to resist roll. Replacement bushings hold the bar in its proper place while still letting it turn.
