This Whiteline Rear Sway Bar Link Kit - 10mm Ball Stud fits the 2017-2020 BMW 430i xDrive. Application note: Adjustable extra heavy duty. The kit contains 2 links. This part is for the rear of the vehicle. The part number is KLC140-135.
The rear sway bar can only do its job if its ends are tied firmly to the wheels, and the links make that connection. A loose or flexible link lets the body lean before the bar starts to push back, which is why worn links show up as a knock over bumps or a delayed feel at turn-in. Because the length is adjustable, the link can be set on the car so the bar sits relaxed at rest, which matters most after a change in ride height.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment.
