This Whiteline Rear Sway Bar Link Kit - 10mm Ball Stud fits the 2012-2019 BMW 118i. Part number KLC140-135. Included: 2 links. Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable extra heavy duty. Position: rear.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the rear sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. A body that adjusts in length means the link can be matched to the car instead of the other way around, and the bar starts from a neutral position.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 1 hour of work listed. It does not require a wheel alignment.
