Product Details
This Whiteline Rear Sway Bar Link Bushing (28.5mm OD) fits the 1987-1988 Chevrolet Sprint Turbo. Order it as part number W21014. Placement: rear. Included: 8 bushings. Trim named on the listing: Turbo.
A sway bar link has a bushing at each end where it connects to the bar and the suspension, and those bushings let the link pivot. When they are soft or worn, the bar takes up slack before it begins resisting body roll, which feels like a delay in turn-in and shows up as clunking. Replacing them restores a firm connection. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Whiteline rates the install as easy and lists about 1 hour. It does not require a wheel alignment. To go with it on the Sprint, see 12mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts.
Features
- Easy to fit: Made with the installer in mind, so it goes in without special equipment.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
- Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
