This Whiteline Front Sway Bar Link Assembly fits the 2014-2016 BMW 228i 2 Series. This part is for the front of the vehicle. Whiteline's note for this fit: Adjustable extra heavy duty. In the box: 2 links. Part number KLC140-255.
A sway bar link is the short rod that ties each end of the front sway bar to the suspension. Whenever the body leans, the link carries that motion into the bar, so any slop, flex, or wear in it is slop in the whole roll-control system. Because the length is adjustable, the link can be set on the car so the bar sits relaxed at rest, which matters most after a change in ride height.
