Links are small parts with a large effect on how a car leans in a corner. They sit between the bar and the suspension and decide how quickly and how evenly the bar's resistance reaches the tire, and this rear link is built to keep that connection firm. A body that adjusts in length means the link can be matched to the car instead of the other way around, and the bar starts from a neutral position.
