Factory subframe bushings are tuned for isolation, not precision, and under load they allow the rear crossmember to move relative to the body. These firmer bushings limit that movement, which gives a more consistent, predictable rear end when the car is pushed. This is a positive traction style kit, designed to lock the subframe to the body.
