This Whiteline Rear Spring Eye and Shackle Bushing Kit - 19mm ID fits the 1998-2004 Nissan Frontier (D22). Placement: rear. Part number W71647. The kit contains 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Application note: Excl V6 and diesel Models with crush tube.
On a leaf-sprung vehicle the spring eyes and shackles pivot on bushings, and they take the movement every time the axle moves. Worn rubber lets the axle shift and clunk, and heavy loads speed that up. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
