This Whiteline Rear Lower Forward Trailing Arm Bushing Kit fits the 2004-2006 Mini Cooper. Part number W63627. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline's note for this fit: Fits vehicle produced from May 2003 onward. Included: 2 shell bushing and 2 tubes.

A trailing arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
