Made to fit the 2015-2026 Volkswagen Golf/GTI, the Rear Lower Engine Mount Kit from Whiteline. Part number KDT975. Whiteline's note for this fit: Performance alloy: heavy duty, suits 6 peed manual and DQ250 gearbox, induces NVH. The kit contains 2 brackets, 2 bushings, 2 tubes, 3 bolts, 1 washer, and 1 nut. Chassis code: MQB. Placement: front.
Engine mounts hold the engine in the chassis while absorbing vibration. When the rubber softens, the engine rocks under hard acceleration and when you lift off, and you may feel shudders, clunks, or a vague throttle. A new mount restores a solid hold. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
