Product Details

This Whiteline Rear Leaf Spring and Shackle Bushing Kit fits the 2002-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. It is listed for the GMT800 chassis. Position: rear. Included: 12 bushings and 4 tubes. The part number is W73821.

On a leaf-sprung vehicle the spring eyes and shackles pivot on bushings, and they take the movement every time the axle moves. Worn rubber lets the axle shift and clunk, and heavy loads speed that up. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.

Expect a moderate job of about 2 hours. It does not require a wheel alignment.

Features

  • Install guide: Instructions for fitting are packed in the box.
  • Bushing compound: Oil, grease, ozone, and weather do not break down the synthetic elastomer used in the bushings.
  • Bushing material: The bushing material is polyurethane, a firmer choice than rubber.
  • Self-lubricating: Internal grease reservoirs keep the bushing lubricated as it works.
