Whiteline Rear Differential Mount Bushing is made for the 1998-1999 BMW 323is 3 Series. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. In the box: 2 bushings, 2 tubes, an install guide, and grease. Order it as part number KDT969. It is listed for the E36 chassis.
The differential is hung from the chassis on bushings that are soft for comfort. Under hard acceleration and braking they let it rock, so power reaches the wheels a moment late and the rear end can feel loose. A firmer bushing holds the differential more steadily, which sharpens throttle response. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
