Product Details
This Whiteline Rear Differential Bushings - Mount Support Outrigger fits the 2004-2005 Subaru Outback. The kit contains 4 bushings, 2 tubes, an install guide, and grease. Whiteline part number: KDT905. Placement: rear.
Differential bushings take the torque reaction every time the car accelerates. When the rubber is worn or soft, the case shifts and the driveline jerks, and wheel hop becomes more likely. Stiffer bushings or inserts limit that movement. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Expect a difficult job of about 4 hours. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. Other Whiteline parts we list for the Outback: Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts, and Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit.
Features
- Install guide: Step-by-step installation instructions come with it.
- Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
- Self-lubricating: Internal grease reservoirs keep the bushing lubricated as it works.
- Finish: The metal is powder coated, which resists corrosion and wear.
- Corrosion protection: Metal parts are plated to resist rust over the long term.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
