Product Details

This Whiteline Rear Differential Bushing - Front Mount Kit fits the 1995-1999 Subaru Legacy. Part number KDT979. Position: rear. The kit contains 4 bushings and 2 tubes. Whiteline's note for this fit: Complete Bushing Replacement for Rear Differential Outrigger Mountings.

Holding the differential still is about predictability. Rubber that is too soft lets it twist and move as load comes on and off, so the car squats and lurches a little more than it needs to. A firmer mount keeps it where it should be. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.

Installation is rated moderate, with about 2 hours of work listed. Get the car aligned once it is back on the ground. To go with it on the Legacy, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Front Control Arm Lower Inner Rear Bushing, and 14mm Adjustable Front Camber Bolts.
