Product Details
This Whiteline Rear Control Arm Upper Rear Bushing fits the 2017-2020 BMW 430i Gran Coupe 4 Series. You receive 4 shell bushings and 4 tubes. Whiteline's note for this fit: Fits OEM Arm 33-32-6-792-543 (Left) and 33-32-6-792-544 (Right). The part number is W63593. Position: rear.
A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 2 hours. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward. To go with it on the 430i Gran Coupe 4 Series, see Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Link, Rear Subframe Mount Bushing, and Front Sway Bar Link Assembly.
