This Whiteline Rear Control Arm Bushing fits the 2017-2021 BMW M240i 2 Series. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. Whiteline's note for this fit: Fits Inner Position of OEM Arm 33-32-6-867-540. In the box: 2 shell bushings and 2 tubes. Part number W63592.
Every time the wheel moves, the control arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
