This Whiteline Rear Axle Pivot Bushing Kit fits the 1984-1990 Ford Bronco II. It goes on the rear of the vehicle. Order it as part number W63622. The kit contains 2 shell bushings, 2 tubes, and grease.
On many front-wheel-drive cars the axle at the rear is a beam that attaches to the body through pivot bushings. Those bushings take the cornering and braking loads, and soft or worn ones let the rear end move and steer slightly on its own. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
Installation is rated moderate, with about 2 hours of work listed. Plan on a wheel alignment afterward.
