This Whiteline Rear Axle Pivot Bushing Kit fits the 1980-1996 Ford Bronco (U15, 2nd-3rd gen). In the box: 2 shell bushings, 2 tubes, and grease. Placement: rear. Order it as part number W63622.
A pivot bushing is the joint that lets a leaf spring or shackle swing while still holding its position. Once the rubber wears, the axle moves more than it should under braking, acceleration, and load. A fresh bushing tightens that joint back up. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
