Product Details
This Whiteline Motor Mount Bushing fits the 1987-1988 Chevrolet R20 Suburban. Included: 1 bushing. The part number is W93464.
Engine mounts hold the engine in the chassis while absorbing vibration. When the rubber softens, the engine rocks under hard acceleration and when you lift off, and you may feel shudders, clunks, or a vague throttle. A new mount restores a solid hold. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Whiteline's note for this fit: Must reuse existing outer metal shell and drill out the welds/rivets to separate them for installation on the new insert. For use in either passenger or driver side. Whiteline rates the install as moderate and lists about 2 hours. It does not require a wheel alignment. Other Whiteline parts we list for the R20 Suburban: Transmission Mount Bushing Kit and 26.9mm Front Sway Bar Mount Bushing Kit.
Features
- Bushing compound: A synthetic elastomer compound resists oil, grease, ozone, and weathering.
- Install guide: Instructions for fitting are packed in the box.
- Self-lubricating: Grease reservoirs inside the bushing feed lubrication as it moves.
- Bushing material: Polyurethane bushings flex far less than rubber ones.
