This Whiteline Heavy Duty Blade Adjustable 18mm Rear Sway Bar fits the 2006-2013 Lexus IS250. Application note: Must only be use with BTF90Z: 2 point adjustable. Included: 1 sway bar and 2 bushings. It is listed for the XE20 chassis. Whiteline part number: BTR92XZ. Placement: rear.
A sway bar is a torsion spring that links the left and right wheels. When the body leans, the bar twists and resists, which keeps the car flatter and spreads load more evenly across the tires. In general, a stiffer rear bar helps the tail rotate and reduces understeer. The bar is adjustable, so the stiffness can be changed to suit the car and the road.
