This Whiteline Front Upper Trailing Arm Bushing fits the 1986-1992 Jeep Comanche (MJ). This part is for the front of the vehicle. Part number W51749. The kit contains 4 shell bushings and 4 tubes.
Every time the wheel moves, the trailing arm swings on its bushings. When they are soft or worn, the arm shifts under load, the alignment changes as the car moves, and steering and braking feel less precise. A stiffer bushing cuts that unwanted movement while still letting the arm pivot freely. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
