This Whiteline Front Upper Shock Absorber Bushing Kit fits the 1972-1979 Ford F-100. Whiteline's note for this fit: Suits gas shocks. Placement: front. The part number is W31487. The kit contains 4 bushings.
The connection between the shock and the control arm or body is only as good as the bushing in it. Worn bushings add play, so a firmer replacement helps the shock do its work. Polyurethane resists deflection far better than the soft rubber it replaces.
