Product Details
This Whiteline Front Upper and Lower Control Arm Bushing Kit fits the 1975-1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. Chassis code: C/K. In the box: 8 bushings, 8 tubes, and grease. Part number W56421. Placement: front.
A control arm bushing is the pivot where the arm joins the chassis or the wheel carrier. Factory rubber is chosen for quiet and comfort, so it squashes under braking, acceleration, and cornering and lets the arm move more than it should. A firmer replacement keeps the arm where it belongs, which steadies the alignment and gives the car a more consistent feel. The polyurethane used here deflects much less than the original rubber under the same load.
Expect a difficult job of about 3 hours. An alignment is required after installation. Working on the same car? We also list Body Mount Bushing Kit, Transmission Mount Bushing Kit, and Front Sway Bar Link Bushing Kit for the K5 Blazer.

- Bushing material: The bushing material is polyurethane, a firmer choice than rubber.
